Welcome!

Established in 2019

The counseling positions at RXPI were created thanks to funding from the passing of 5A & 5B in Douglas County. Since the role is so new, we want to ensure it is meeting the needs of our students! Please reach out anytime with questions or concerns.

Our Goal

To provide every Roxborough student with the tools they need to be happy, to find success, and to embrace the world around them. Our goal is best accomplished by collaborating with parents, staff members, and students themselves.

A Colorado native, I love balancing my free time with activities both close to home (reading, baking, playing with my nieces and nephews) and further away (hiking, traveling, anything water-related). My husband, Colton, and I have 3 fur-babies at home and are always on the hunt for our next adventure!

I believe every individual does the best they can with what they have...sometimes we simply need more tools in our toolbox to help us make better choices, feel happy, or reach our goals!

My counseling approach is largely solution-focused, and I strive to recognize the child as an active participant in the process of growth. This is my 4th year as a School Counselor and in Douglas County, having previously worked at a k-8 charter school in the district.

I moved to Colorado in June of 2015, and I am a Roxborough resident! I am originally from Buffalo, NY but also lived outside of Philadelphia, PA for 4 years before settling in Colorado. This past year, my husband (Leo) and I welcomed our baby girl, Adriana. She just turned one on July 30th! She is keeping us on our toes with her newfound mobility, we are loving every minute!

Aside from being a  mom, and School Counselor, I also coach competitive cheerleading and have done so for the past 11 years. I love to travel and spend time with my family.

I am starting my 9th year as an Elementary School Counselor. I worked outside of Philadelphia for 4 years, and have worked in Douglas County at Arrowwood and Acres Green Elementary Schools for the past 4 years.

I moved to Colorado in March of 2019 after 17 years in Portland, OR.  I’m originally from Wisconsin - Go Badgers and Packers! I’m a proud mom to a 4 year old (Henry) and live with my best friend since high school and husband Jason.  When I’m not counseling I love being outside (swimming, hiking, running, biking, or playing at the park).

I started my career as a School Counselor in 2004 in Portland Public Schools; I was at a middle school for 9 years and a high school for 5 years. In addition to School Counseling, I’ve been a Professional Counselor in private practice since 2010. My practice is currently set up in Lone Tree.  I’m also a Yoga Teacher for kids through adults, and love teaching family yoga and incorporating yoga and mindfulness into my approach.
